3 hollow bolt machines for adjusting headlights in cars

3 hollow bolt machines for adjusting headlights in cars

Industrial automation

We built three machines that use hollow bolts to adjust headlights in newly manufactured cars. They utilise Keyence contact probes and automatic screwdrivers developed and manufactured by us.

How do the machines work? Simply in 3 steps:

  1. The contact probes measure the initial positions of selected parts of the headlight assembly placed in the machine.
  2. The automatic screwdrivers adjust the hollow bolts to achieve the desired positions.
  3. The contact probes check that the final alignment is correct.

Headlight adjustment must be extremely precise. Each position adjusted by a single screw is measured by three probes.

The fact that we built three identical machines for a single customer demonstrates their trust in our work. We sincerely appreciate this.

We have years of experience in the design and construction of assembly lines and single-purpose machines.
