MARS 300: Powerful and energy-efficient fanless computer suitable for Edge applications

MARS 300 is a powerful and energy-efficient solution for industrial deployment in the fields of automation, transportation, retail and smart cities. This fanless computer is based on the modern Intel® Celeron® J6412 processor and is designed with an emphasis on stability, flexibility and low consumption.

Powerful hardware in a compact body

The heart of the device is the quad-core Intel® Celeron® J6412 processor (Elkhart Lake architecture) with integrated Intel UHD Graphics 16EUs graphics core, which provides balanced performance for both computing and graphics. The operating memory can be expanded up to 32 GB DDR4 3200 MHz SO-DIMM, which ensures sufficient performance even for more demanding applications.

Multi-display support and modern interfaces

The MARS 300 computer allows dual image output via HDMI 1.4b (up to 4K at 30 Hz) and VGA (Full HD). This is ideal for applications that require simultaneous display of data on multiple screens – e.g. in control centers or kiosks.

Wide connectivity and expansion options

MARS 300 offers wide connectivity options for peripherals via the rear panel, which includes two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, suitable for connecting high-speed devices such as external SSDs or industrial cameras, and two USB 2.0 ports, suitable for mice, keyboards or barcode readers.

For network connection, two Intel I210AT gigabit LAN ports are available, which allow simultaneous operation in two separate networks or provide redundant connections.

There are also two serial ports – one RS-232 and the other switchable between RS-232/485/422 – which can be used, for example, to connect PLCs, serial displays, sensors or legacy industrial automation devices.

The equipment also includes an 8-bit GPIO interface for digital inputs and outputs, ideal for reading the states of limit switches or controlling signaling LEDs and relays, for example.

Thanks to these features, the MARS 300 combines performance, integration and versatility for industrial environments. It also offers a lower total cost of ownership (TCO).

Reliability in harsh environments

The computer is designed for continuous operation in temperatures from 0 °C to 50 °C, with a storage temperature range of -40 °C to 85 °C. Thanks to the fanless design, the device is very quiet and less prone to failures.

The MARS 300 supports Windows 10 (64bit) and Linux operating systems, which ensures broad compatibility.

Power and mounting

The computer supports 12 V or 24 V DC power supply with automatic detection, making it an extremely flexible choice for a wide range of applications. The power connector is 4-pin (2×2) ATX.

The MARS 300 can be mounted on a wall and optionally on a DIN rail, which makes it easier to install in distribution cabinets.
