Arbor SM-151C: 15.6″ industrial touch monitor for HMI and automation

Arbor SM-151C is an industrial touch monitor designed for use in automation, production lines, control panels and HMI applications. It combines a 15.6″ Full HD display, True-Flat front design and Projected Capacitive (P-CAP) touch technology, which allows comfortable and precise control even during long-term operation.

The robust design with an aluminum front panel and IP65 protection (front side) ensures reliable operation in dusty and humid industrial environments. The monitor is designed for continuous operation and is distinguished by its long service life.

Display and touch technology

Arbor SM-151C is equipped with a 15.6″ TFT LCD panel with a resolution of 1920 × 1080 px (Full HD) and an aspect ratio of 16:9. Wide viewing angles of 178° horizontally and vertically ensure good image readability from different directions. LED backlighting with a lifespan of up to 50,000 hours minimizes maintenance requirements.

The 10-point P-CAP multi-touch touch panel is designed for industrial use. High load of up to 35 million touches makes it suitable for use in modern HMI interfaces.

Connectivity and power

The Arbor SM-151C offers wide compatibility thanks to several video inputs:

• HDMI
• VGA
• DVI

The touch layer is connected via a USB interface. Power is provided via a 12V DC input with a lockable Phoenix connector, which is a common standard in industrial installations.

Assembly and integration

The monitor supports multiple installation methods:

• Panel mount – panel mounting
• Wall mount – wall mounting
• VESA mounting (75 × 75 mm)

Compact dimensions and low depth facilitate integration into cabinets, control panels and machine units.

Availability and alternatives on offer

Recommendation on which model to choose:

• Arbor SM-151C
  Suitable for compact HMIs, control cabinets and applications with limited installation space, where a standard display area is sufficient.
• Arbor SM-211C
  Suitable for applications where greater clarity, readability from a greater distance or display of larger process visualizations is required (production lines, kiosks, large machines).
