Getac ZX80: A durable tablet with artificial intelligence and a universal Android operating system

Getac has expanded its portfolio of durable tablets with a new model. It is an eight-inch Getac ZX80 equipped with the Android 13 operating system.

Weighing just 590g, this tablet has a robust design and top-notch features to ensure trouble-free operation in all circumstances. It is perfectly suited for work not only in the manufacturing sector, but also in the field of transport or energy supply.

Excellent performance with the involvement of artificial intelligence

The Getac ZX80 is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm QCS6490 processor that ensures smooth operation even when performing demanding tasks. The processor is equipped with an AI Engine with a fused AI acceleration architecture and provides a total performance of up to 13 TOPS.

The tablet is ready for an innovative way of working. It uses technology that enables machine learning right inside the device and allows you to run AI-based tools while maintaining long battery life.

Beautiful resolution, fast connection and comfortable work

The Getac ZX80 tablet has a front 8 Mpx camera and a rear 16 Mpx camera. Thanks to them, high-resolution photos and videos can be taken in all circumstances.

Optionally, the tablet can be supplemented with dedicated GPS navigation for precise location determination and a physical SIM card or a built-in electronic eSIM. This enables flexible connection to the LTE or high-speed 4G to 5G mobile network.

The tablet is equipped with a hot-swappable battery, which will be appreciated by time-pressed workers in the field.

Sun-readable LumiBond® display with 1000 nit brightness, easy to operate even in rain or gloves, allows work in all weather conditions.

Large memory and easy communication connection

To make full use of AI, the Getac ZX80 is equipped with 12 GB of LPDDR5 memory and 256 GB of UFS internal memory, which combines the advantages of speed and reliability of NAND flash memory with the performance of the PCIe interface. This means that it provides a high speed of reading and writing data.

For communication, the tablet is equipped with a Wi-Fi 6E 802.11ax wireless connection and a Bluetooth v5.2 interface. Depending on customer requirements, the tablet can also be configured with NFC and a barcode reader.

First-class durability and reliability

Like all the manufacturer’s devices, the Getac ZX80 is designed with an emphasis on maximum durability and reliability under all circumstances.

MIL-STD-810H and IP67 certification means the tablet can withstand a drop of up to 1.8 meters and withstand shock, rain, vibration, dust and liquid spills.

The range of operating temperatures from -29 °C to 63 °C ensures year-round usability of the device.

Even with all the built-in protections, the ZX80 is only 17.6mm thick, making it comfortably portable and mobile even in the field.
