The modernization of our switchboard production fundamentally changes the workflow. The slow manual cutting of structural holes in switchboard cabinets is a thing of the past for us.

We purchased the Perforex Milling Terminal from Rittal, which automates, speeds up and makes this part of production more precise.

The 4-axis CNC machine will provide the cabinet of the newly manufactured switchboard with all the necessary cutouts. It is compatible with the EPLAN project software, from which it extracts all the information about the layout, shapes and sizes of the holes. Using cutting tools, it will transfer the project to a real form on the computer with an accuracy of ± 0.2 mm.

Purchasing the machine was a big investment. That’s a fact. But its benefits for us are many times greater.

Not only will Perforex speed up our production and free up the hands of overworked colleagues. Since few companies have such a machine, we gain a huge competitive advantage. Or perhaps ideal conditions for establishing strategic cooperation with other switchboard manufacturers.

We’ll see what our innovation will eventually bring about. In any case, it’s a step in the right direction.
