We actively participated in the Robots 2026 conference and also became its main partner. The event took place on January 21 and 22, 2026 in Brno.

Colleagues Dušan Šelong and Martin Halama had a lecture prepared for all those present on the topic of intelligent applications in robotics. The most interesting part was the part dedicated to the system for automatic generation of the trajectory of the movement of the robotic arm, which we developed.

In short, it is a program that itself designs the entire movement of the robot so that it is effective and at the same time there is no risk of collision. When calculating the trajectory, the program is based not only on the specific space, the operation being performed, but also respects the movement limits of the robotic arm.

The biggest benefit of our solution is more than 90% time savings, compared to when the operator searches for the optimal trajectory using conventional methods.

In addition to an interesting lecture, we also had a model ready for visitors, on which our colleagues demonstrated how we teach machines to see.

Our live demonstration of the cooperation of ELVAC Vision machine vision with a camera and a robotic arm presented the following capabilities:

• Detection of surface defects
• Optical text recognition
• Reading DMC codes
• Correction of position in the image

These are functions that automate, speed up and make more accurate routine activities associated with product inspection and handling.
