This year’s technology fair took place from June 2 to 5 in Taipei.

Its main theme was autonomous systems, robotics, drones and other devices that can independently perceive their surroundings and react to them.

We saw a lot of different exhibits from individual exhibitors. Each was interesting for something different. However, in general, they showed that artificial intelligence is moving from data centers to end-user applications. Manufacturers are focusing on processing data directly in devices (industrial computers, vehicles, robots, tablets, rugged mobile terminals) without the need for a constant connection to the cloud.

Another common denominator of the exhibiting companies is the emphasis on the development of technologies focused on data security, defense applications and the adaptability of hardware to specific customer requirements.

Overall, the fair made it clear that the future is no longer just about higher computing power, but above all about the practical use of AI in industry, transport, logistics, security and autonomous systems.
