Cincoze P2202 industrial computer combines high performance and slim design

Cincoze has launched the P2202 series of high-performance computers that can be optionally configured with three different display types – CV/CS/CO.

Thanks to the exclusive CDS technology, Cincoze P2202 computers can be used for a variety of purposes with completely different requirements. They perform a perfect job in a demanding industrial environment and are easily integrated into machines as part of the HMI.

A more powerful successor

The new line of computers includes two models with U-series (Alder Lake-P) Intel Core i3/i5 processors. These are Cincoze P2202 and P2202E with the possibility of expansion by one PCI or PCIe card.

Compared to its predecessor with the Whiskey Lake platform, the new computers offer up to 2.23x higher performance and integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics. Compared to the previous model, it is up to 2.58 times more powerful. In addition, Cincoze P2202 computers support up to 64GB of DDR5 4800MHz memory.

One computer for three different purposes

The Cincoze P2202 is a series of ultra-slim embedded computers that are ideally suited for applications with limited installation space.

Thanks to the patented CDS (Convertible Display System) technology, the computer can be easily connected to different LCD modules designed for different environments and applications.

For general use, the CV+P2202 series of LCD modules with brightness up to 500 nits and operating temperatures of 0 to 65 °C are suitable. CS+P2202 LCD modules with a brightness of up to 1800 nits and an operating temperature range of -20 to 70 °C are intended for outdoor use. CO+P2202 LCD modules with a brightness of up to 350 nits and a temperature range of 0 to 50 °C are ideal for installation in machines and kiosks.

All series of LCD modules offer different sizes, display ratios and touch control methods.

Wide peripheral connection options and modular expandability

The Cincoze P2202 series excels in the ability to connect up to four independent displays – DisplayPort, HDMI, VGA and CDS.

Furthermore, the computers contain a lot of inputs/outputs such as 2x GbE LAN for network communication as well as 3 x USB 3.2 and 1x USB 2.0 for connecting to various peripherals and sensors.

Up to four DB9 connectors with RS-232/422/485 interface are used for serial communication. Digital communication with sensors, sensors or relays is provided by a 16-bit DIO interface with a 20-pin connector.

The storage space for data is variably solved in the computer with two slots for 2.5″ SATA 6Gb/s HDD/SSD with RAID 0/1 support, but we also find 1x M.2 key M for NVMe SSD.

It goes without saying that 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and other wireless communication modules are supported through the integrated Mini PCIe and M.2 Key E slots.

For special purposes, the Cincoze P2202 range of computers allows additional features to be added. For example, PoE for connecting cameras or an IGN module for controlling the computer to turn on and off according to when the vehicle is started and turned off.

In addition, the P2202E model is equipped with a PCI/PCIe slot for expansion with peripherals such as graphics cards, accelerators or video processing cards.

Reliable operation in a demanding environment

Cincoze P2202 computers can work in a wide range of temperatures and can adapt to voltages as well. They also successfully passed vibration and shock resistance tests.
